South-east wind all day, but very hot. Calm, and as the mist is dispersing, very hot. Departed along the beach to Jacob Kok's farm on the aforementioned Zeekoei River. Have had to leave the hippopotamus hide at Kok's because it is still not dry. As always, whole pieces of the upper skin are peeling off.
