Went up a mountain in order to seek out our direction and the road. Saw that we had gone astray. Left of the kloof once more, and after going through the many winding turns of the Nabbékloof -- where I encountered my earlier road to Beerevlei -- arrived after four hours at Piet van de Merwe’s Struijsvogelfontein where we found the boundary-pole between the Swellendam and Stellenbosch districts.
