schoon weer stil in den morgen fors z.t.o agtermiddag die wat na Sons onder opquam over de hoge berg en door de hap van ene tak der Swarte rivier cloof. die begin by trakas hoogte Coups ruggens.

The wagon arrived in the morning without having noticed anything. Obtained the latitude here: 33 degrees 9 minutes 10 seconds

Fine weather. Calm in the morning. A brisk south by east wind in the afternoon which rose more strongly after sunset, coming across the high mountain and through a bite in one of the sides of the Swarterivierkloof, which begins in the Trakas heights in the Koup hills.
